Initiatives

As well as lobby for a better safer environment for cyclist the Kerry Cycling Campaign has a number of focused initiatives, these include:

Bike Friendly Business – Highlighting businesses in the county which are bike/cyclist friendly
Greenways – Tracking Greenway projects in Kerry.
Cycle Mapping – Mapping and presenting an interactive map of the counties cycle facilities and infrastructure
EuroVelo – Promoting this transnational route in Kerry
Campaign for improved bicycle parking facilities.
National Cycle Policy Framework Implementation – Monitor the implementation of the National Cycle Policy Framework in Kerry.

Cycle Mapping

This initiative involves two strands; firstly the mapping and adding the current and proposed cycle facilities and infrastructure in county Kerry to Open Street Map, and secondly the creating of a custom interactive map which will display these features.
